Before you begin
Fields the buyer marks mandatory — freight mode, Incoterms, and certain fees — must be filled before you can submit.
Phase 1
Open & review the RFQ
Find the RFx, check its deadline, items, and foreign terms.
1
Open SourcingPrivate Leads, then click Check Details on the RFx.
2
On the Summary, review the RFx deadline, buyer information, and the items table.
3
Expand Foreign Details — preferred freight type, Incoterms, expected delivery, origin, packaging, currency and ship-to/sold-to.
4
Click Submit Offer to begin your offer — or Reject Invitation to decline.
Phase 2
Price the items
Price each item per unit, in the offer currency.
5
Each item has three options:
1.
Edit item — change the description, quantity, or unit of measurement.
2.
Add options — offer alternatives alongside the original.
3.
Not available — if you can’t quote it.
Note: Manufacturer and HS Code are optional.
6
Enter the Unit Price (US$) per item. Taxes default to 0% — totals calculate automatically.
Phase 3
Terms, freight & submission
Set terms, freight and Incoterms, then review and submit.
7
Set Currency, Delivery Time, and Offer Valid till. For Payment Terms: enter 100 in advance for fully upfront, or 100 within N days for postpaid — or split (e.g. 50 / 50). The two lines must total 100%.
8
Select your Freight Mode, fill Shipping Items Details (description, weight, dimensions, equipment, type), and choose your Incoterms.
9
Fill the Foreign Offer Details. Required: pickup address, supplier name, production period, and readiness date — the rest (weights, packaging, HS Code…) are optional.
10
Review the Financial Offer Summary, add any attachments, then Submit Offer.
Note: some buyers make the attachment mandatory — if the button doesn’t say “Optional”, you must attach a file before you can submit.
11
After submitting, check how competitive your offer is — by total and per item — and update it if needed.
Your foreign offer is submitted!

You can update your offer while the RFQ is open. Watch the competitiveness indicator (total and per item) and revise to stay ahead.
