Every auction setting changes supplier behavior. Here's what each one does and a sensible default.

The settings

Open the relevant screen from the left navigation, then follow the on-screen prompts. Every action is recorded to the event's audit trail so your team always has a complete history.

• Start price — the ceiling for the opening bid.
• Minimum decrement — the smallest allowed drop.
• Duration — how long the room stays open.
• Anti-sniping — extends the clock on late bids.
